Note: we’re basically going to list multiple apps that will allow you to make video calls between Android & iPhones. In all honesty, after you’ve used one of these alternative apps that smoothly run on different platforms, you won’t even feel the need to use FaceTime at all.
The only major player missing in providing quality video chatting apps for multiple platforms is Apple. One of the easiest and fastest ways to make video calls between platforms is to use an app owned by Microsoft and another app that’s made by Google. Thankfully, there are a lot of alternatives that allow you to make video calls between Android & iPhones without any problems or compatibility issues. Sure, it would have been amazing if Apple allowed their mainstream video chatting app to be available on other platforms, but as we’ve discussed in “Can You Get FaceTime for Android” article, there is no way to do so. There are multiple ways you can make video calls between Android & iPhones however, none of them involve FaceTime.
